Batsmen with most sixes in Qualifiers for Nepal

Jun 13, 2015 | Kaushal Adhikari |

Who else could it be when you have a fierce hitter of the ball once he gets going. Out of the two editions of the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers that Nepal have participated in so far, only 11 batsmen have managed to get the ball over the boundary rope.

Skipper Paras Khadka leads the chart with 14 sixes. The skipper also holds the record for most four with the number 35. He is close to a half century of boundaries in the Qualifiers.

Hard-hitter Binod Bhandari is in the second of the table with 10 sixes, while Sharad Vesawkar with seven. Vesawkar had three back to back sixes when Nepal defeated Kenya in chase of 183 during last edition of World Cup Qualifiers.

Pradeep Airee, who has finally made comeback for the national team now, also has seven sixes. National team vice-captain Gyanendra Malla is fourth with six sixes and all rounder Sagar Pun has five.
